Design my story e un blog inceput acum ceva vreme cand ma gandeam sa scriu despre chinurile, revelatiile, fericirile unui wanna be designer ca mine. Intre timp am si uitat de el ca eram prea ocupata cu trairile mele personale si profesionale ca sa mai scriu despre ele. Descopar insa puterea terapeutica a scrisului. Asa ca Design my story is back! Cu adanci influente din aria dezvoltarii personale, voi relata pasii, mici sau mari, pe care ii fac in directia visului meu de a fi designer. Unul fabulos chiar:).

I'm mostly a visual person so I many times I find peace and inspiration in beautiful pictures. I have an entire ever growing collection of images so I thought I would share it with you guys! Ofcourse I could do like everybody else and post them on Facebook, but I'm too lazy to do that.

2012 Spring Trends

I cannot wait for Spring! I'm so sick of the cold, grim winter! I want to see colors on the streets! 

And fortuntely, spring-summer is all about color: pastels or vivid oranges, many many prints from floral to abstract to zig zgas to digital prints! 

                                                     Love the orange! and the hot pants!

                                                    Lovely bright prints this season!

Tot mai sus!

Sfarsitul anului e un moment unic pentru mine, am ocazia sa ma uit inapoi si sa ma uit la mine sa vad diferentele  fata de anul trecut. Si acest an a fost cu adevarat special pentru ca in sfarsit am avut curajul sa incep sa fac ceea ce imi place. Si nu doar atat, am facut si pe altii fericiti prin ceea ce fac. Am avut multe revelatii, schimbari de opinie, descoperiri, experiente. De toate, important e ca am invatat sa le apreciez, bune sau rele.
Drumul de abia a inceput, mai am mult de invatat, de crescut, de experimentat, de trait, de creat. Si de abia astept! Am multe proiecte pentru anul urmator si sunt entuziasmata pentru fiecare! Si LivChariere va primi un "upgrade" cat de curand.
Scopul meu e sa las ceva in urma, sa traiesc fiecare zi facand ce imi place si sa dau mai departe din fericirea mea. Asa, ca un mic virus care te face sa zambesti:).
In viziunea mea eu sunt piatra si sculptorul in acelasi timp. Am sculptat mult in acest an si sunt mai aproape cu fiecare zi de a fi cine vreau sa fiu.
Una din melodiile care ma inspira si reprezinta enorm este "I was here" de Beyonce. Ador fiecare vers si mi se pare atat de reprezentativa pentru un artist dorinta de a crea ceva specaculos si a lasa ceva in urma. Adevarata nemurire.
Pentru anul ce vine vreau sa va fac o singura urare: "Tot mai sus!"

Show Adrian Oianu

               Aseara a avut loc prezentarea noii colectii a lui Adrian Oianu la Muzeul de Geologie. De ce acolo? Pentru ca inspiratia a fost de natura geologica: florile de mina. Intr-adevar, natura e cea mai creativa, felul in care combina nuante, texturi, forme nu poate fi intrecut de nici un om.
               Cu asa o inspiratie, va dati seama ca imprimeurile au fost fabuloase! Toata colectia avea un "vibe" autentic romanesc, de la parul impletit al fetelor la rochiile care aminteau de ia romaneasca, dar intr-un mod contemporan  si subtil. Totodata croiala, asimetriile,fluiditatea, felul cum se misca rochia odata cu modelul, detaliile (fermoarele invizibile, pensele de la maneci, gulerele), combinatiile dintre imprimeuri (in dungi alternative) toate mi-au atras atentia. Nu pot sa nu mentionez parfumul purtat de modele, care era cu leustean si mirosea fenomenal, atat de diferit si placut.
              Un alt lucru care da de gandit a fost spus in deschidere chiar de catre AO: cat de mult este abuzat cuvantul "fashion", atat de mult incat si-a pierdut sensul devenind banal si el face design contemporan, nu "fashion".
De abia astept sa apara pozele de la prezentare!

My favorite bag!

A couple of days ago I made this bag and I can't stop wearing it ever since!It's addictive!

 It matches with every colour because it's neutral, I can fit my life in it and it's so adorable with the bow! Oh, and the bow is removable (it's a broche)!. I love it when things are both practical and beautiful, actually this is my design philosophy:  comfortably beautiful!

I love statement necklaces! They can totally turn around an outfit! They are the divine detail that get you from boring to spectacular in a heartbeat. So I wisely decided to start making them. 

And I love it! Indeed, it takes a lot of patience and concentration but to me this is an "relaxing effort:)". Love the results, as I enjoy so much to make unusual combinations between different materials, textures and colors. It's such a wonderful feeling to do what you love the most!
